Restore Smart View in MS Excel

To restore or enable Smart View in MS Excel after it has become disabled, follow these steps:

  1. From the Excel menu, select File / Options.
  2. From the left pane of the Options dialog box, select Add-Ins.

  3. From the Manage drop-down box at the lower left side of the winow, select COM Add Ins and select the Go button. Excel Options dialog box with Add-Ins selected on left and COM Add Ins selected on Manage drop-down list

  4. In the COM Add Ins dialog box, check the box for Oracle Smart View for Office and click the OK button. COM Add Ins dialog box with Oracle Smart View for Office checked

  5. Close all windows, then close and restart MS Excel.

The Smart View tab should now appear in your MS Excel Ribbon
