Definitions

Dimensions

Dimensions define how data is organized in the CalPlanning tools.

  • The CalRptg database has 11 dimensions. HCPRptg has 2 additional dimensions.
  • Each dimension has members. FY20 and FY21 are members of the Year dimension.
  • The CalRptg dimensions are shown here with an example member selected. The following section includes detailed descriptions and examples for each dimension.

Members

Members are items within a dimension. For example, the Period dimension includes all of the months of the year. The months roll up to quarters and the quarters roll up to YearTotal. This hierarchy allows you to report at the level of detail desired.
